Aurum - Guardian of the Skies

Worshipped at the Bell Tower, it is said merely witnessing Ho-oh grants eternal happiness. He has the power of resurecting the dead as well as the flames to punish evildoers, as such he is held in high regards by most pokemon.

Ho-oh's mission as a Legendary is to protect life on Earth, as such he's always travelling to stop the largest menaces. Since he can't be at two places at the same time, he has many emissaries blessed to act on his name, such as the Legendary Beasts or Marshadow. He prefers to see himself as their father rather than a boss, as he trust their good judgment and doesn't feel the need to order them around.

Despite his important status, Aurum doesn't think of himself as above other beings and treat each of them with the same kindness. Even iredeemable vilain he's willing to give a second or third chance to. With his long, long life he learnt each person is unique and judging them is pointless as long as they don't harm others with their actions.

The weight of hundreds of years doesn't seem to affect him, Ho-oh loves to pass himself as a normal being so he can see up close how the world is evolving: what he misses from the past, new discovery shall fill in the void and he is very glad new technologies lets him capture sceneries he might otherwise forget with time.

Argyros: They have known each others for the longest time. Aurum pretty much feels like he's the only one that truly understands Argyros, which is why he know when to leave the guy some space and when to pay him a visit

Yorimitsu: Aurum never approuved Raikou's involvement in wars, but never opposed it either. She's free to do as she please with the life he gave her and he merely wish for her happiness.

Suizen: WIP

Kagerou: Aurum is very aware of what Kagerou is capable of, but doesn't believe he's a bad person at his core. Every light create shadows and Ho-oh feels nothing but compassion for the one stuck there.

Cybèle: As a being from the future, Aurum takes Cybèle's concerns seriously. Her music is wonderful and he would love to hear more of it, if only their rare meetings didn't involve so much serious discussions...

• His feathers are rainbow-colored and coveted by mortals, who believes finding one would bless them with fortune. As such, Ho-oh folds his wing under a coat or cape when he doesn't want to be recognized..
